Our Activities

We follow the recommendations of Folkhälsomyndigheten (The Public Health Agency of Sweden), and take consideration  according to the RS-virus. If you feel sick or show symptoms you are welcome to join after having two symptom free days. Open Groups for Parents

Svenska med baby’s core activities are our open groups for parents on parental leave, where parents with babies (0-2 y/o) from every nationality and background are welcome to join. During the prevailing situation with Covid-19 we have adapted our meetings, read more herePlease join our local groups on Facebook for updated information about your group. It is free of charge and you don not need to pre-register. 

Digital groups for parents

Svenska med baby´s digital group with webbinar is a new activity for parents on parental leave and parents with young children, from every nationality, background and who lives anywere in Sweden. The main theme for the digital group is ”parental support”, where invited guests will talk about a related topic and then there is time for questions and discission.  Learn more and sign up here, it is free of charge.

Activities with Baby

A few times per semester, we arrange special activities called “activity with baby”, for our participants. There are an array of different activities such as outings, study visits, visits to the theatre and much more. If you wish to join you will need an invite, usually received at the open groups for parents or at our Facebook.

Family-Time Saturdays

These popular meet-ups are for the entire family. This is a perfect opportunity for you to meet families from all over Stockholm, at no cost! For these events you don’t have to pre-register.

Summer meetings

In June and July we have summer activities with Svenska med baby. We paint, read, sing, have coffee and talk with each other. For parents and children. Free of charge, no pre-registration.

What is Svenska med baby?

Svenska med baby’s goal and vision is to create a welcoming meeting place for parents and children from different neighbourhoods and from cultures all over the world. With their children as the common denominator, through our open parent groups and activities we aim to bring together new and established Swedes for them to learn from each other’s unique perspective and grow together.
